Are great for trick or treating;
If no money changes hands
At least they're good for eating.

for black cats and pumpkins, too...
It's time for lots of real-scary fun
for someone sweet-like you!

A gypsy fire is on the hearth
Sign of the carnival of mirth;
Through the dun fields and from the glade
Flash merry folk in masquerade,
For this is Hallowe’en!

That's bright and scary too
Because this is the kind of day
That's being wished for you.

Pink wigs and witches hats
Green boils and blackened teeth;
Is what you get around my house
All on our Halloweeth.

Broomsticks flying around the yard
Giant spiders hanging in the hall;
The kids are mostly terrified
But the grownups have a ball

Cotton spiderwebs up the wall
Ha ha-he he cackle boil and hiss;
Spells and tales from days of old
You will never get us being sillier than this.

With cauldron brewing (only making tea)
Cackling through loud speakers;
The dragons are coming is the call
We'll have to wear our sneakers.

To get away from dragons breath
That makes us disappear;
Hiding under our great cloaks
We're grinning from ear to ear.
