I don't want to leave you
But I really have to go;
These chances don't come twice
I'll pop in whilst going to and fro.

I really love this job
But I've had a better offer;
I can't thank you enough
But will miss you mother.
Time moves on
Waits for no one so they say!
So I have to grab it while I can
It may not come another day.

You're off to University
You can't wait to go and start;
To make new friends but
I'll miss you whilst we're apart.
The doctor that you've dreamed of
Forever and a day;
Is now within your grasp at last
Specialising if you get your way.
So leave you must but visit soon
And tell us all your news;
You're past practising on me by now
If you snooze you lose.

Farewell to a fond neighbour
You have been very good to me;
You turned into a friend
And now I'm leaving thee.
I didn't want to go you know
My heart was torn in two;
I didn't care about the landlord
All I cared about was you.

Damn and curses you might say
But that will not last for long;
You know as well as I do
That it has all gone wrong.
Best to finish right this minute
And call it the end of the day;
It's no good hanging on
There's nothing left to say.
The feelings we had are? Don't know where!
The love left with those too;
So I'm really very sorry
But there's nothing I can do!

Just as honey to the bee is sweet
Your love did sweep me off my feet;
I've now stood up and cannot see
Whatever did you see in me.

On Your Retirement
It is time for you to relax now
and to take life in your stride
no more need to rush around
time is on your side
I know you will enjoy your Retirement
with lots of things to do
interesting places to visit
there will always be something new
so enjoy yourself away from work
and think of it no more
look forward to your future
by stepping through new doors
Good Luck

I still find each day too short for all the thoughts I want to think,
all the walks I want to take, all the books I want to read, and all
the friends I want to see.
John Burrough
Oh go on then ! I'm really jealous
To find that time for me;
It would be so exciting
I would need so much tea.
Whilst making plans for all those dreams
I've had for years and years;
Not sure I've got the energy now
And that will just bring tears.
So Good Luck!!!
